Wolfenstein... 3D!
This cobalt bluuuue, aughhh. So good. I made this with some Terraform Studio pals as part of a new workshop demo, the beer steins! This was my take on it. The form was designed by Kell Lakia and the lid and other details are all by me.

The words on the side: "Straw dogs in a savage garden" is a couple ideas I smushed together, I'll try to explain. The Anne Rice character the vampire Lestat is often quoted referring the the world as a savage garden, full of violence and beauty in equal measure. Straw dogs are "ceremonial objects from Ancient China, used as a substitute for the sacrifice of living dogs. ChΓΊ gΗu (εη) has been used figuratively to refer to anything discarded after use." (src:wikipedia) It's also a metaphorical device in the Tao Te Ching which is where I stumbled across it. Basically I'm saying that our self identity, our ego, our place in the world is akin to that of a straw dog. Twigs and leaves and air and an idea. It's a savage garden out there and we will one day be the compost, so just let go. Nothing matters in the best way. Have a drink, chill the fuck out, and howl at the moon about it. Positive nihilism, baybee.
