Matching set - bold geometric vases

I lost confidence several times with these, even after firing I felt that they were tortured and over designed. But I guess a vase is never really finished until it holds something. These showcase not only my journey with ceramics but also bring together my love of gardening, and my past as a trained florist. I grew, cut, and arranged the greenery in vases I sculpted, polished, and painted myself. Our hands are so powerful when given time to learn and grow in confidence 🙌 I’m definitely rusty on the floristry part though 😅 Keane stoneware 7 body, hand built from slabs with @chrysanthoscolor underglazes in black and white. I also used their latex and wax resist products for these pieces. The glazes are @the_wheelhousestudio cobalt (tenmoku on the inside) and @northcotepotterysupplies orange gloss glazes, fired cone 10 oxidation.
