Mondrian board game buddy

A commission for a very good friend. They wanted something to hold board game pieces and a dice rolling tray. The Mondrian design was very inspiring to me so I ran with it! Keane ironstone slab-built bodies, with Chrysanthos black and white underglazes. NPS clear satin, white satin, and canary glazes, and Wheelhouse studio ketchup and cobalt glazes for the finish. Fired cone 10 oxidation. I wish I hadn’t painted white satin glaze on white underglaze, I was hoping for better coverage, but I feel like it had some strange interactions. Clear satin over all the black and white sections may have finished better.
