Dreamy Kitchen Witch mug
✨⭐️🌙💜
Made during the October @terraformstudio / @twomuddymen Cauldron mug workshops. I love doing these because they help me chill out and stop taking it all so seriously. You always get some tasty treats and a relaxing afternoon of guided muddy fun. I gotta put my own spin on it of course, (can't help myself) but having the base design laid out for me is very freeing. Just gotta think about surface texturing and how I'm going to finish it up. I really took my time deciding what to do with this one but I'm so glad! The dreamy pastel finish isn't something I would normally do, but it's my new favourite mug. Keane stoneware 7 handbuilt slab with coiled handle. Etched and slip trailed surface texture. I covered sections with Chrysanthos latex masking fluid, and dipped the mug first in Peachy (really lived up to it's name this firing) then Periwinkle glaze, with an overlapping section. Peeled off the latex once the glaze was dry and finished with Chrysanthos and amaco velvet underglaze details. Fired cone 10 oxidation.
