Chaos cup desk organiser

I wanted to experiment with a slab making method involving pouring layers of coloured slip onto plaster and then peeling it off like a sticker when it's partially dry. I did this for the base of the cup (slide 2). I also wanted to make something a bit wacky. I've been inspired by a potter named Tim Kowalczyk who makes ceramics that look like they're made of cardboard. So here's my free-association, cardrippin', lumpy bumpy tool holster. Get your shit together, Mary. And put it in this g-d cup. Keane ironstone with stained stoneware slip. Glazed in the wheelhouse studio 'shimmer' clear gloss glaze and fired cone 10 oxidation.
