This is such a wild little jar. I had absolutely no plan going into this, (well I had planned to make a mug but realised pretty quickly the form was too big for that, so I pivoted 😅) just employing a method I learned at the studio for modifying a slab cylinder with darts. The shape came out so fancy! I love this clay body, I feel like if I tried to do sharp bends like this with stoneware 7 I would have cracks all over, but the ironstone is so forgiving 🤎 the designs are supposed to be hakea flower fairies having a party🥳🧚‍♂️

Keane ironstone clay body with white stoneware slip detailing, handbuilt from slabs. Walker ceramics grape spangle glaze, wiped back and fired to cone 10 oxidation.
