I’m sooo happy with this one, it makes me feel things 🥹 I wanted to make something filled with queer joy and movement. I put on some dancey music while painting to get in the mood, haha. There’s some characters here that I’ve drawn before and it’s so delightful to have them immortalised in ceramic 🙌 feels like a totem piece of all my silly guys and passion for clay and fun all coming together. A storytelling moment or something.

Wheelthrown Keane stoneware 7 body, thrown on my birthday :) A wide variety of glazes and underglazes went into the decoration. Northcote Pottery Supplies Clear Satin, Canary, and Orange gloss brush on stoneware glazes. The Wheelhouse Studio honeycomb and ketchup gloss glazes. And finally Chrysanthos underglazes. Fired to cone 10 oxidation.
