Nesting chip and dip set

This was a commission piece, ordered as a gift for two lovely folks from QLD. The request was for nesting pieces matching both their individual and joint passions and personalities. I tried my best!

The bowl is Keane stoneware 7 with white raku and dark matter marbled foot. The platter is dark matter with the same marbled clay foot. Slab and pinchpot built, with chrysanthos underglaze decoration. The bowl has wheelhouse studio marshmallow inside and northcote pottery supplies clear satin outside. The platter has swirls of hand painted wheelhouse ketchup and NPS orange gloss. The ketchup glaze shows so well on dark matter! Loads of silvery reflecting parts.
