I spent a lot of time today hanging out in discord calls with my friends while editing this site. I wanna thank lucah a whole bunch for inspiring me and giving me frash tips. She's so cool, you gotta go look at her bird diary. I'm really enjoying this whole process of building the website, it's very nostalgic to me. A long time ago I did a TAFE course in web design and I just used to like making pretty shapes and arranging things around. Like a dress up game or what House Flipper is to me now, essentially. Low stress busywork resulting in something that looks some kinda way. It's very relaxing and exciting at the same time. I love writing something and then rushing to refresh the page and seeing the changes appear, it's so magical.

Also something silly I did today is a big dumb puzzle. All the best jigsaw puzzle designs seem to be on the Ravensburger 100 piece XXL format. They're really easy but there's something so satisfying about the big chunky puzzle pieces. It would be nice to do a harder one but I just love silly wizards and dragons so much, and you just don't see designs like this is the serious puzzling section. It all has that random, AI generated/algorithmic look to it that makes my skin crawl. Big dumb wizards is where it's at.
